Product Description

The large jaw faces are an easily recognizable characteristic of the BESSEY K Body parallel and case clamps. They allow strong, precise and gentle clamping and spreading of workpieces. Thanks to their extra-large contact surfaces, the original BESSEY K Body REVO parallel clamp and the lightweight UniKlamp case clamp distribute clamping force evenly even when being used at high clamping forces. Cabinetmakers, Carpenters, Joiners and Kitchen fitters all benefit from the use of parallel jaw clamps because they are ideal for clamping large areas without damaging the material. When In use parallel clamps provide very accurate clamping support and are ideal for many applications including furniture making, restoration, cabinet construction, and holding large panels and frames in place when gluing. BESSEY offers the unique K Body REVO parallel clamp in two versions – with fixed (KRE) or sliding upper section (KREV) – each with a range of openings up to 2.5 meters. Both of these versions offer up to a nominal 90 degrees of clamping capability and 1700 lbs of everyday clamping force. Another advantage of the K Body REVO clamps is that they have additional workpiece supports on the rail that prevent the workpiece from coming into contact with the rail and being damaged. This also allows the clamps to be placed on the workbench and then used as a glue press. Im enjoy the parallel style clamps but needed a longer clamp for large cabinets. The bessey flex head clamp adapter was purchased for irregular angles.One of the two clamps took longer to receive. Upon receipt, it was immediately noticed that the bottom retainer clip that comes with the clamp was missing. I have reached out to Bessey warranty department to get this resolved and will update this review based on the results.Update: after exchanging several emails with Bessey “customer service” and one “junior manager”, over a month has passed and no clips arrived. Trivial perhaps, but when you buy online, you run the risk of items not arriving in expected condition. Bessey had an opportunity to make it right, and failed. As a result, no more purchases from Bessey.The ad for these end clips that I had to pay for when the new clamp arrived missing the component, says the sale is for 1 package of 2. ONLY 1 came in the package. Duh. What a convoluted company.

These clamps are not cheap so I did my homework. Folks has issues with the clamps getting damaged during shipping due to inadequate packaging, and they had issues with the jaws not being parallel when tightened down. I had neither of these issues so wanted to provide this review in case others are on the fence over these same potential problems. First the packaging. I purposely got these clamps shipped from and sold by Amazon because I knew they would help me if the products arrived damaged. Packaging is 100% from Bessey, Amazon is not adding any of their boxes. This kit is heavy, just under 40 lbs (I weighed it) so the potential to get damaged in shipping is there. The box arrived a bit banged up so I was worried I would have to deal with the hassle of exchanging, but everything was fine. There are three individual packages within the main box, and once I got past the initial banged up outer box, everything was in good shape. You get 1) the two 24" clamps packaged together in a box, 2) the two 50" clamps packaged together in a second box, and 3) the extenders packaged together in a third box. The extenders are loose in their smaller box but they are beefy and each comes in that super-strong-cut-your-hand-open-rigid plastic. The clamps come with a cardboard protector on the rails and the ends are snuggled in high density plastic foam. No damage. I think the fact that this is a kit helps with shipping, because there are multiple items, and therefore everything fits together like a puzzle and helps with overall resistance to shipping damage. As for my second concern, the jaws are indeed parallel. There is a slight angle to the jaws when not tightened down, but this corrects to parallel under tension. These are cheap but effective, I'm using this as a better table clamp for my direct drive wheel (CSL DD) found a printable base on thingiverse that these are compatible with and it's been working flawlessness. I appreciate the rubber tops on the clamp end so my desk surface isn't getting absolutely destroyed!

I've been using this for just over a month, and I've only had to retighten them occasionally (as expected when the DD is shaking the crap out of my work surface). These are simple but fantastically rigid!

I have a bunch of Bessey clamps, from 12 inch to 50 inch. I've always been very satisfied with them. I particularly like these K-Body REVO clamps (compared to the older Bessey clamps) because they have an Allen socket in the end of the handle, which allows me to use an Allen wrench to really clamp down with them.

Some of my Bessey clamps go back over ten years - with fairly heavy use - and they still work well.

I have no hesitation in recommending them.

These are exactly what I needed for my needs. I needed a clamp to hold down my SWIX Nordic ski waxing profiles. The SWIX branded clamps are priced at $50 which I thought was way too much. These one's worked perfectly at a fraction of the cost. The rod shaft has a diameter of 8mm which fit perfectly into the waxing profiles. Overall highly recommend these if you are looking for a set of specific clamps.

Son súper prácticas, las puedes colocar acostadas o paradas y sabes que no se van a caer, tienen una sujeción muy fuerte y lo mejor en mi caso, es que adquirí unos combos que tenían dos de 50 pulgadas de margen de agarre y otras dos de 24 pulgadas de margen, además de 4 bloques conjuntos de prensas para marcos.
Estaban en oferta!! así que adquirí 3 combos, estoy muy satisfecho con la compra. Definitivamente volvería a comprar otras, ya que como dicen… “unas prensas nunca están de más”

Llegó súper bien empaquetado, no sufrió ningún daño a pesar de qué es muy pesado el porque, son muy robustas y grandes. Simplemente genial y lo valen, lo mejor es que se pueden unir entre sí y alcanzar una mayor longitud.

Comparándola con otras prensas Bessey es mucho más gruesa y robusta.
