I was installing new laminate floors in my family room, and don't like the after-thought look of quarter-round molding, so I decided to pull my baseboards off, and reset them after the new floor was done. I was able to get my baseboard molding off in no time, with no damage to the walls or molding, which is great, because if I damaged stain-grade molding, it's always tough to match the stain when replacing a section.
The pivoting head (see video) is great for both prying trim, and protecting the walls at the same time, and really speeds things up, vs. my old way of getting trim off.
Also, a solid, heavy-duty tool. I have no concerns about this thing holding up to years of use.
100% recommended, great purchase, great tool to add to my carpentry arsenal.
