I'm old enough to remember the days before solar chargers were available for much of anything, let alone basic household stuff, so I am a little enthralled right now by this handy gadget.
I ordered this one for our gazebo/patio 'chandelier' and its so great. The bright daylight mode is bright enough to read by. The dim warm setting is perfect for just chilling on the patio watching fireflies.
Obviously, I also twined fairy lights around my little chandelier, but the bulb in the center is fantastic. Easy to charge, use, hang, move... I am a little nervous that it could break easily. It feels just like a regular light bulb, so I plan to treat it gently just in case. The remote worked easily and immediately, no problems. This thing is awesome! I can't wait to hang it in the gazebo tomorrow.
We lose power often out here in the country, so we definitely need more of these around our little farm. We are ordering more for our chicken coop and camper, as well as a gift for our family members who love camping. No joke. This light exceeded my expectations.
